Throughout the lessons, students read about baseball, learn about Miami, and even hear from some current Miami Marlins players! During Think Tank Week, Marlins players, coaches, broadcasters and Manager will visit classrooms that utilized the program. The students and teacher will demonstrate to the Marlins personnel what they learned through the program, which is followed by a Q&A session and ends with an autograph session for the students. Think Tank visits will continue on May 17, 20 and 21.
On May 18 the Marlins will host the MASPP Teacher Appreciation Night. The Marlins will provide tickets to each school for their teachers to come and enjoy the game together. Each school is also receiving VIP passes for the postgame concert.
