Marlins Ayudan takes over Citrus Grove Middle as part of Annual Day of Service

On Thursday, October 24th the Miami Marlins front office, composed of more than 160 members, will take over Citrus Grove Middle School (located at 2153 Northwest 3rd Street, Miami, FL) for the Annual Marlins Ayudan Day of Service and Philanthropy

Activities will include a beautification project with City Year Miami, complementary eye screenings offered to the entire student body by Florida Heiken Children's Vision Program, a division of Miami Lighthouse for the Blind, team mentoring sessions with Marlins Staff and guest speakers from the school board, Marlins front office and Citrus Grove alumni.

Along with the Marlins front office, third baseman Ed Lucas will join the group for the day of service. Marlins staff is set to arrive at 9:20 A.M. and event will begin promptly at 9:30 A.M. with special guest speakers. The day of service will conclude at 3:30 P.M.
