Derek Jeter is reuniting with one of his fellow Core Four members in Miami.
Jorge Posada is joining the Marlins' organization as a special advisor to baseball operations, a source confirmed to MLB.com's Mark Feinsand on Tuesday.
A source also told Feinsand that in Posada's new position, he will not be in uniform during Marlins camp, which begins Wednesday when pitchers and catchers report for Spring Training in Jupiter, Fla.

Posada, who lives in South Florida, won four World Series with Jeter as Yankees teammates. Both of them made their Major League debut in 1995, and they played together in New York for all 17 years of Posada's career. Jeter retired in 2014 before becoming CEO and part owner of the Marlins.
Following his retirement in 2011, Posada had also served as a guest instructor for the Yankees during Spring Training.
Posada, now 47, was a five-time All-Star catcher and five-time Silver Slugger Award winner at the position. He hit .273/.374/.474 with 275 home runs and 1,664 hits.
