Orioles: Adley Rutschman, C (MLB No. 2), Double-A Bowie
Rutschman shook off a hitless Saturday night and kept rolling with his fourth three-hit day of the season in Bowie’s blowout 10-0 win over Binghamton. Rutschman went 3-for-6 and launched his 10th homer, an opposite-field two-run moonshot to left field in the first inning to give Bowie a lead it would never relinquish. Padres: CJ Abrams, SS (MLB No. 8), Double-A San Antonio
Abrams put his stamp on San Antonio’s victory by filling up the box score with his fourth multi-hit performance in eight games. The 20-year-old stroked an RBI double, walked with the bases loaded and also swiped his ninth base of the year. Abrams fourth three-hit performance pushed his average back over the .300 mark at .301 to go along with a .791 OPS, 20 runs scored and 15 RBIs in 29 games. Padres prospect stats »

Indians: Nolan Jones, 3B (MLB No. 29), Triple-A Columbus
The top Indians prospect notched his fifth multihit game of the season but his first in which every hit went for extra bases. Jones led off the fourth inning with a moonshot to center for his second dinger of the year. The blast broke a 2-2 tie for the Clippers. Two frames later, the 23-year-old laced a double to left. Jones worked a four-pitch walk in the ninth to reach base in all four of his plate appearances in the game. Padres: Luis Campusano, C (MLB No. 34), Triple-A El Paso
Joshua Mears (No. 9), Low-A Lake Elsinore
Campusano ripped his first triple and scored twice during his second three-hit effort in four games. The 22-year-old spent the first month in the Majors and struggled, which carried over after he was returned to El Paso. Thanks in large part to a 2-for-28 skid, Campusano batted .214/.300/.314 with five extra-base hits in 19 games last month. However, June has proved far different for the Augusta, Ga., native who has put together a .308/.400/.508 slash line with six extra-base knocks and five RBIs in 10 games.

Mears plugged into his power source yet again, belting a pair of long balls while going deep for a third consecutive game. The 20-year-old entered Sunday batting .176 in June, albeit with two of his three home runs. Mears has now reached the seats four times in his last eight at-bats after homering once in his first 91 at-bats of the season. San Diego’s second-round pick in 2019 is batting .222 with an .828 OPS, 19 walks, 11 extra-base hits and nine RBIs in 30 games. Padres prospect stats »

Red Sox: Jeter Downs, SS (MLB No. 38), Triple-A Worcester
Jarren Duran, OF (MLB No. 91), Triple-A Worcester
Hitting first and second atop Worcester's lineup, the dynamic duo of top Red Sox prospects put on a show again in the WooSox’s 13-7 win over Syracuse.

Downs swatted two homers out of the two-hole for Worcester, his fourth and fifth of the season. He went 2-for-6 on the day, adding three RBIs, two runs and two strikeouts. His first blast kicked off the scoring for the WooSox, a two-run shot that spurred a six-run first inning. His second homer was a ninth-inning solo shot that followed outfielder Michael Gettys dinger, capping Worcester’s 13-run day. Downs has struggled lately, but continued to show flashes of his elite pop.

Duran was the leadoff man for Worcester in Sunday’s contest, and rewarded his manager by getting on base four times. On the day, the slugging outfielder went 2-for-4 with his team-leading 10th homer, a single, two RBIs, two runs and two walks. Duran’s two-run dinger came in the third inning, a pull-side shot that put the WooSox run total into double digits. Duran has been a force all season long, and has regained the power stroke from earlier this season. Cardinals: Masyn Winn, SS/OF (No. 5), Low-A Palm Beach
The fifth-ranked Cardinals prospect drove in a career-best seven runs on a pair of extra-base knocks. Winn mashed his second homer of the season in the second, a grand slam to left that broke the game open for the Cardinals. The 19-year-old's first dinger on Thursday was also a grand slam. Last year’s second-round selection also laced a two-run double to right in the fifth and drove in Palm Beach’s final run with an RBI groundout to short in the ninth. Marlins: Jerar Encarnación, OF (MIA No. 21), Double-A Pensacola
While Pensacola’s pitching spun 8 1/3 no-hit innings, Encarnación took care of the offense in the 4-3 win over Chattanooga. The switch-hitting outfielder launched two jacks for the first time in his career, his fifth and six blasts of the season. On the day, Encarnación finished 3-for-4, adding a single, two RBIs and two runs to his final line. The 23-year-old has been consistent over the first month and a half of the season, with a .782 OPS in May and an .802 OPS in June. Athletics: Brayan Buelvas, OF (No. 13), Low-A Stockton
Drew Millas, C (No. 30), High-A Lansing
Buelvas notched his third multi-hit performance in eight games, tying his season-high with three hits and finishing a double shy of the cycle. The 19-year-old led off the bottom of the first with a triple, walked in the second, singled in the sixth and clubbed his fifth home run in the eighth, his third in eight games. A 4-for-27 start to the year left Buelvas’ average at .148 on May 15. The Colombia native has batted .286 since to bring his slash line up to .241/.364/.482 in 22 games.

Millas turned in the best offensive day of his professional career on Sunday, racking up a career-high seven total bases as a part of his second career three-hit game. The switch-hitter went 3-for-3, smacked his second homer of the season, doubled, drove in one, scored twice and walked twice in Lansing’s 6-2 win over West Michigan. On the year, the 2019 Draft pick is slashing .279/.402/.413 with an .815 OPS, showing an adeptness for getting on base with 22 BB’s and a walk rate of 17.3 percent. Athletics prospect stats »

Astros: Joe Perez, 3B (No. 26), High-A Asheville
Perez has been raking all season, and his Sunday performance was no different. The 21-year-old knocked three extra-base hits, a home run and two doubles, in Asheville’s 9-0 sack of Rome. Perez finished 3-for-5 with three RBIs and two runs scored. It was the slugging infielder’s second career game with three extra-base knocks, his first coming on August 6, 2019. Since earning his promotion from Fayetteville to Asheville on May 25, Perez has turned his game up a notch. In 13 High-A games and 53 plate appearances, Perez has slugged four dingers and is slashing .340/.377/.700 for a 1.077 OPS. Astros prospect stats »

Braves: Justin Dean, OF (No. 25), Double-A Mississippi
A season that has yet to get untracked took a turn in the right direction for Dean on Sunday. The 24-year-old doubled, singled three times and drove in a season-best three runs as part of the first four-hit game of his career to spearhead Mississippi’s offense. Dean plated two runs with a double in the third and drove in another with a single in the fourth. A 17th-round pick in the 2018 Draft, Dean hit just .203 in May but has flipped the switch this month, batting .289/.360/.444 with six extra-base hits and eight RBIs in 45 at-bats. Yankees: Hayden Wesneski, RHP (No. 30), High-A Hudson Valley
Wesneski has been dominant on the hill all season, and turned in his best outing of his young career in Hudson Valley’s 5-0 blanking of a talented Brooklyn lineup. The 23-year-old twirled a career-high seven scoreless inning on two hits, two walks and nine strikeouts, another career best. Wesneski owns an ERA of 1.49 in 36.1 innings and seven starts, striking out 47 and walking nine. The 2019 sixth-rounder has held opposing batters to a .194 average, and has been adept at keeping runners off the bases with a 0.91 WHIP. Yankees prospect stats »
