Flores turns in third multihomer game

Wilmer Flores, the Mets' No. 4 prospect, hit two home runs Friday, but Triple-A Tacoma came back to defeat Las Vegas, 6-4.

Flores played shortstop Friday, the first time he had started a game at the position since suffering a jammed finger Sunday. After playing all over the infield during his professional career, he has been the club's primary shortstop this season.

Tacoma's eighth-inning comeback spoiled a solid start by right-hander Logan Verrett, the Mets' No. 20 prospect. He allowed one run on five hits in seven innings. He struck out two batters and walked two.
