NEW YORK -- 's latest effort as a member of the Mets came to an abrupt end after four innings in the Mets' thrilling 4-3 win over the Indians in 10 innings at Citi Field on Wednesday night, but the right-hander said he isn't worried about the hamstring tightness.

"I'm going to make that start against the Cubs on Tuesday," said Stroman.

Stroman exited the contest with left hamstring tightness after holding Cleveland to one earned run and five hits, settling for a no-decision. The right-hander is now 1-0 with a 4.58 ERA in four starts with the Mets.

After the game, manager Mickey Callaway said the team wasn’t concerned about Stroman’s status moving forward.

“[He] got checked out, got an MRI, and we’re not concerned at this point,” Callaway said.

The injury occurred on Stroman’s final out of the night, as he went to first base to cover a routine groundout and felt something was off. The Mets evaluated him during the ensuing inning and ultimately decided to replace him with right-hander Jeurys Familia, who went on to throw a scoreless frame.
