Team to watch

Three of the Mets' four Top 100 prospects are all headed to Coney Island with High-A Brooklyn. Mauricio and Baty bring plenty of power to the Cyclones offense and will feature strong arms from the left side of the MCU Park infield. Allan has the potential to lead a Major League rotation some day with two plus pitches in his fastball and curveball. His changeup also took a massive step forward at last year's alternate site, held in Brooklyn. Baty and Allan helped the Cyclones capture a New York-Penn League title in 2019 at the end of their Draft years. Similar glory could be awaiting them by the beach in their returns this summer.

New faces

There will be tons of these at Triple-A Syracuse. Lee makes his Mets Minor League debut at the Minors' top level after coming over from the Royals in a three-way offseason deal. McWilliams signed a Major League contract in the offseason but will work his way toward a debut in The Show from the Syracuse bullpen. Similarly, De La Cruz (Minor League free agent) and Díaz (trade from Blue Jays) bring some right-handed firepower to Triple-A in their first looks in orange and blue.

On the shelf

A second-rounder last year out of Mississippi State, Ginn is still rehabbing from the Tommy John surgery he underwent last spring prior to the Draft. As of this spring, the Mets were hopeful he could see action with a club later this summer.
