Celebrating 25 Years Of Isotopes Baseball: Club Unveils 2027 Schedule

August 3rd, 2026

The Albuquerque Isotopes unveiled their 2027 season schedule today, a docket featuring 75 home games celebrating the 25th year at Rio Grande Credit Union Field at Isotopes Park.

The Isotopes will host Opening Day on Friday, March 26 against the Sacramento River Cats – the earliest regular season game in team history. It’s the club’s first Opening Day home game since 2024.

Holiday highlights of the 2026 home schedule include Easter (March 28), Cinco de Mayo (May 5), Mother’s Day (May 9), Juneteenth (June 19), Father’s Day (June 20) and Independence Day (July 4).

“Reaching our 25th anniversary is an incredible milestone for Isotopes baseball, and the 2027 season gives us the perfect stage to celebrate it with New Mexico,” said Isotopes General Manager Chrissy Baines. “We get to open the year at home, we get a schedule filled with major holidays — Easter, Cinco de Mayo, Mother’s Day, Juneteenth, Father’s Day, Independence Day and we get months of opportunities to bring this community together.  Our team is already building a packed promotional lineup worthy of a silver‑anniversary season, and we can’t wait to fill the ballpark with the traditions, excitement, and joy that have defined RGCU Field at Isotopes Park for a quarter‑century.”

The Isotopes have a two-week, 12-game homestand from June 29-July 11 versus Round Rock and Sacramento.

The club’s season finale is set for Sunday, September 19 at RGCU Field against the Round Rock Express.

Promotions and other special events will be announced during the off-season. The universal off-day across all of Minor League Baseball will remain on Monday.
