Enchantment awaits at HODGE-WARTS (get it?)
Harry Potter Night presented by Cacique Foods is coming to HODGETOWN! On June 20 when the Amarillo Sod Poodles take on the visiting Midland RockHounds (Double-A, Athletics), the Soddies will be taking the field in Harry Potter-themed jerseys as part of a magical night at the ballpark.
Among the highlights of the night the Sod Poodles have in store are limited edition Harry Potter t-shirts available for purchase in The Burrow!
The Soddies will be giving away hats reflecting the different Hogwarts Houses to the first 1,000 through the gates! Each giveaway is a mystery as to which of the four different hats you receive. These one-of-a-kind caps are also included with a purchase of a Harry Potter Ticket Package.
Fans should also be sure to stop by any HODGETOWN concession stand for Churro Wands and Butter Beers, both sold for ONE NIGHT ONLY!
It all comes to grand conclusion postgame with a brilliant fireworks display themed to tunes of the Harry Potter universe.
Additionally, the Harry Potter-themed jerseys the Soddies will be sporting on Saturday night will be auctioned off LIVE and online with proceeds benefiting Don Harrington Discovery Center. All jersey will be signed by the player or coach who donned the game-worn threads, with select jerseys going upstairs to the Fairly Group Club Level to be auctioned off IMMEDIATELY following the game. The remainder of the jersey will be available for auction ONLINE and can be bid on until 10:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 21.
