Charlie Pagliarini Named Texas League Player of the Week

Arkansas Travelers infielder Charlie Pagliarini was honored as the Texas League Player of the Week for August 24-30 it was announced today by Minor League Baseball. Playing in all six games, Pagliarini went 8-26 with three walks and seven extra base hits for a slash line of .385/.448/.962. He slugged four home runs and drove in nine, scoring eight runs and helping the Travs to five straight wins to close the week. He went deep twice on Sunday including the go-ahead and eventual game-winning homer in the top of the 9th inning. It marked his second multi-homer game of the season and the fourth of his career.

For the season, Pagliarini is hitting .270/.384/.496 with 24 doubles, 3 triples, 24 homers, 80 RBI and 77 walks in 119 games. The 25-year old was drafted in the 19th round in 2023 by Seattle out of Fairfield University. He is a native of Trumbull, Connecticut.

The award for Pagliarini marks the 11th time a Trav has earned a TL weekly honor this season. Kade Anderson was a five-time award winner this season and other previous awards have gone to C Boston Smith, LHP Nico Tellache, INF Caleb Cali, RHP Ryan Sloan and OF Lazaro Montes.

The Travs are home this week at CHI St. Vincent Field at Dickey-Stephens Park for the final six home contests of the season running from September 1-6 against the Northwest Arkansas Naturals.
