
Tulsa, OK–The Arkansas Travelers could not overcome a strong start from Tulsa pitcher Patrick Copen in a 6-1. The Travs managed just six hits for the night, five off Copen who struck out 10 over 6.2 innings to earn the win. Tulsa hit three home runs in the first five innings to account for all but one of their runs. Boston Smith and Connor Charping both had two hits in the defeat with Smith driving in Arkansas’ lone run.

After a day off Monday, the Travs return home to open a six game series against the Springfield Cardinals on Tuesday night.
