Springfield, MO–Jonny Farmelo and Charlie Pagliarini both connected for home runs but it was too little, too late and the Arkansas Travelers were defeated by the Springfield Cardinals, 16-6 on Wednesday night. The Travs scored the final six runs of the game thanks to the pair of homers. Tyler Cleveland threw two perfect innings of relief late in the game. Cardinals starter Liam Doyle did not allow a hit until the sixth inning and earned the win.
