The Buffalo Bisons season comes to a close on Sunday, but not before one last event-filled homestand for Herd fans to enjoy at Sahlen Field. The Bisons host the rival Rochester Red Wings, September 15-20, in a series that gives baseball fans plenty to celebrate as the seasons change in Western New York!
Highlighting the last week at the ballpark this year is the annual fan-favorite event Fan Appreciation Night, presented by MGMT Reputation, on Friday night against the Red Wings (6:05 p.m.). Featuring Giveaways EVERY Inning of the Game, one last Resurgence Brewing Happy Hour and the team’s Largest Fireworks Shows of the Season, the event is currently ‘under-construction.’ For the last week (and through Wednesday night), Bisons fans can submit their entertainment choices for this great Sahlen Field tradition; from music, to food specials, to the jerseys the team wears and more! For their suggestions, fans can receive a $10 Ticket Offer to attend the game themselves!
This week’s homestand also includes the team’s annual Too Early for Halloween Game? on Saturday (1:05 p.m.), with a Mini Pumpkin Giveaway with Kelkenberg Farm, pregame kid-friendly Characters and Trick or Treating from Frightworld America’s Screampark, Costume Contests and more, presented by TasteNY. The Bisons also get a big day in Buffalo sports going early on Game Day Thursday with a 12:05 p.m. first pitch (NEW TIME) against Rochester with $7 Tickets & $3 Sahlen’s Hot Dogs all game long.
The final game for the Herd this season will be Sunday at 12:05 p.m. with a BrightPath Kids Funday with pre-game Mascot Meet n’ Greet and one last trip around the bases with postgame Kids Run the Bases, presented by Platter’s Chocolates.
