
LEHIGH VALLEY, PA – The Buffalo Bisons scored eight runs and picked up eight hits en route to an 8-5 win over the Lehigh Valley IronPigs on Sunday afternoon at Coca-Cola Park.
Daz Cameron and Josh Kasevich had multi-hit games for the Bisons. Cameron hit a two-run home run in the top of the fourth inning and a two-run double in the fifth. As for Kasevich, he singled in the fourth and doubled in the seventh. He also scored a run as well in the seventh.
Lehigh Valley got on the board first in the bottom of the second inning. Payton Henry smashed a two-run double to center field. Robert Moore then dropped a single to right field to drive in Henry, giving the IronPigs a 3-0 lead.
Buffalo trimmed the lead in the fourth. Sean Keys doubled to right field to score Ismael Munguia. Cameron then tied the game for the Bisons with his two-run homer to left-center field. Soon enough, Buffalo took a 4-3 lead thanks to a solo shot from C.J. Stubbs to right field.
Cameron added insurance to the Bisons lead in the fifth inning. With two outs, he blasted a two-run double to left-center field.
Buffalo maintained its offensive momentum in the seventh. Sean Keys hit a sac-fly to center field to give the Bisons a 7-3 advantage. Then, a wild pitch from Nolan Hoffman allowed Kasevich to score.
After four scoreless innings from Lehigh Valley, the deficit was cut in the bottom half of the inning. On a full count with two outs, Tommy Phase hit a two-run double to left-center field to make it an 8-5 game in favor of Buffalo.
