BOWIE, MD (August 10, 2026) – Another exciting season of baseball is on deck at Prince George's Stadium! The Chesapeake Baysox, proud Double-A affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles, are ecstatic to announce their 2027 home schedule—and it’s an action-packed lineup of can’t-miss matchups, family fun, and fireworks-filled nights!
The 34th season of Baysox baseball all starts with an exciting home opener on Tuesday, April 6, as the Baysox take on the Richmond Flying Squirrels (San Francisco Giants). The full slate of fun continues all season long with 69 home games through Sunday, September 5, when the team wraps up the regular season against the Hartford Yard Goats (Colorado Rockies).

Must-See Matchups and Feature Series
- Two Matchups in Maryland: Two six-game home series each vs. the Akron RubberDucks (Cleveland Guardians), the Harrisburg Senators (Washington Nationals), and the Richmond Flying Squirrels (San Francisco Giants)
- One-and-Done Showdowns: Six-game sets with the Altoona Curve (Pittsburgh Pirates), the Erie SeaWolves (Detroit Tigers), the Hartford Yard Goats (Colorado Rockies), the Portland Sea Dogs (Boston Red Sox), and the Somerset Patriots (New York Yankees)
- Special Three-Game Series: Reading Fightin Phils (Philadelphia Phillies) visit right after the All-Star Break
The Top Summer Highlights
- Starting with the Senators: The Baysox start the season by facing the Harrisburg Senators, the Double-A affiliate of the Washington Nationals, in nine of their first 21 games, including a six-game home series kicking off on Tuesday, April 20
- Spending Holidays at Home: The team is at Prince George's Stadium for both Mother's Day (Sunday, May 9) and Father's Day (Sunday, June 20) - hosting the Akron RubberDucks, the Double-A affiliate of the Cleveland Guardians, on both occasions
- Independence Day Bash in Bowie: For just the second time in the last seven seasons, the Baysox will be home for July 4, hosting a series finale against Somerset. Join us then for fireworks, entertainment, and patriotic fun for the whole family!
- The Final Stretch: Close out the season strong against Hartford, August 31-September 5

The Baysox have 12 home games remaining in the 2026 season, beginning on Tuesday, August 18, at 6:35 pm when Chesapeake starts a six-game series against the Richmond Flying Squirrels at Prince George’s Stadium. The Baysox home schedule concludes with a six-game series beginning on Tuesday, September 1, at 6:35 pm against the Portland Sea Dogs.
