COLUMBIA, S.C. — The Columbia Fireflies are lighting up the summer sky 12 more times this summer at Segra Park! Segra Park has a family-friendly fireworks show every Saturday home game, but this year, to ring in the club’s historic 10th anniversary season and celebrate America’s 250th birthday, the team is blowing it out with more fireworks shows than ever before. Here’s a guide to Segra Park’s top pyrotechnic displays during the 2026 season. 

Fireworks with the Phil

 June 27 – This kicks off your opportunity to watch fireworks at Segra Park during the holiday season. The Fireflies are partnering the the South Carolina Philharmonic Orchestra for a sixth year of fireworks and patriotic music. Attendees can enjoy a concert from one of the top Orchestra’s in the region and then revel in a wonderful fireworks show to close out the night and kick-off Independence Day Week at Segra Park! Thanks to Prisma Health, tickets are available for $10 per person for the annual event coming to Segra Park Saturday, June 27. 

Pre-Fourth of July Party

July 3 – Need to know where to watch family-friendly fireworks in Columbia, South Carolina this summer? Over the holiday weekend, the answer is simple: Segra Park. Friday, July 3, the Fireflies kick-off a three-day fireworks extravaganza with the biggest, brightest fireworks around.  

America’s 250th Birthday

July 4 – Segra Park is hosting the City of Columbia’s official fireworks show right after the Fireflies biggest game of the year. This will be the Fireflies longest fireworks show of the year with the biggest fireworks shooting beyond the outfield fence at the ballpark. What’s more perfect than that? Celebrating America  in a bigger, bolder way than ever before.  

Extended Fourth of July Celebration

July 5 – Are you a fireworks junkie? If you need one more fireworks show on Independence Day Weekend, look no further than Segra Park! Sunday, July 5, the Fireflies host a game where kids can run the bases after, the team will have an on-field autograph session after the game, oh and by the way—there'll be another fireworks show post-game to cap off the perfect holiday weekend!
