COLUMBIA, S.C. — The Columbia Fireflies and Myrtle Beach Pelicans game scheduled for Thursday, August 8 has been postponed due to wet grounds and impending weather for the remainder of the evening. The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader tomorrow at 5:35 pm at Segra Park. Gates will open for the contest at 5 pm.
The doubleheader will feature two, seven inning games with an approximately 30-minute intermission between contests. Both teams have yet to name their starters for the doubleheader.
Tomorrow is a Block Party presented by Founders Federal Credit Union. The first 1,000 people in attendance once the gates open at 5 pm will receive a Mason building block set. Tickets are available at FirefliesTickets.com.
