Behind his excellent performance, Adam Zebrowski put Columbus ahead with an RBI single in the second inning and slugged a solo home run (12) in the seventh inning to make it 2-0, Columbus. Looking for insurance in the bottom of the eighth, Taylor smashed a grand slam home run (4) off the light tower in right field to launch the Clingstones to a 6-0 lead.
Key Contributors: Sears (6.0 IP, 7 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 8 SO) worked another quality start for Columbus while Zebrowski (2-for-3, HR, 2 RBI) and Taylor (1-for-4, HR, 4 RBI) led the charge at the plate. For Montgomery, starting pitcher Jackson Baumeister (6.0 IP, 5 H, 1 R, 1 ER, 1 BB, 7 SO) kept the Biscuits close with a quality start of his own.
