COLUMBUS, OH – The Columbus Clippers and The Ohio State University announced that the Buckeyes baseball team will play just their second-ever regular season game at Huntington Park on Friday, May 14, 2027, against the Indiana Hoosiers. First pitch is currently scheduled for 6:00pm. The announcement was made during “Ohio State Night” as the Clippers faced the St. Paul Saints. The Buckeyes baseball team was in attendance and honored before the game.
Tickets for the 2027 Buckeyes game are now on sale to the general public at ClippersBaseball.com. Current OSU students will be able purchase tickets for just $5 by showing their BuckID card at the Huntington Park ticket windows.
Earlier this year, Ohio State run-ruled the Michigan State Spartans 15-5 in 8 innings in the team’s first-ever regular season game at Huntington Park.

The award-winning facility, located at the corner of Neil Avenue and Nationwide Boulevard in the heart of downtown’s Arena District, has been home to the Columbus Clippers for eighteen years. Upon its debut in 2009, Huntington Park hosted the Big Ten Baseball Tournament three times in a four-year span. The top Minor League affiliate of the Cleveland Guardians has welcomed nearly 10 million fans through the Huntington Park turnstiles, annually placing among the top five nationally in attendance. The county-owned ballpark also served for ten years as the site of the Ohio High School Baseball State Tournament Finals and in 2018 hosted the nationally televised Triple-A Baseball All-Star and National Championship games.
The Ohio State Buckeyes last faced Indiana in 2025, losing a three-game set in Bloomington. The last time the Hoosiers came to Columbus was in 2021, when OSU swept a four-game series.
The 2026 Columbus Clippers season at Huntington Park wraps with games against St. Paul on September 19 & 20. The 2027 season will be the 50th season of Clippers baseball, opening with a three-game series against the Iowa Cubs in late March.
