Lakeland, FL – Jake Bennett smacked the go-ahead double and Dunedin’s bullpen was lights out as the Dunedin Blue Jays took down the Lakeland Flying Tigers 2-1 on Sunday afternoon at Publix Field to clinch the series win.
Dunedin’s bullpen trio of Jack Nedrow, Isaac Williams, and Dax Dathe kept Lakeland off the board over the final three innings, with Dathe earning his first professional save.
KEY PERFORMERS
- RHP Denis Samudio (6 IP, 1 R, 5 H, 1 BB, 5 K) fired a career-high six innings of one-run ball with five strikeouts to earn the win.
- Samudio did not allow a run until there were two outs in the 5th inning.
