The El Paso Chihuahuas led Sunday afternoon's game 7-4 in the sixth inning, but the Salt Lake Bees scored nine unanswered runs to come back and win 13-7. The Bees won four of the six games in the series and eight of the 12 games in the season series.
El Paso catcher Ethan Salas went 2-for-3 with a two-run double, a two-run home run and a walk. It was Salas' third home run in 14 Triple-A games and his first in El Paso. Salas has reached in all 14 games and he has a 10-game hitting streak.
The Chihuahuas ended three Salt Lake innings with double plays and lead all of professional baseball with 127 double plays this season. El Paso stole two bases Sunday and had 19 steals in the series. Chihuahuas manager Pete Zamora was ejected in the top of the first inning for arguing a call at second base. It was his third ejection of the season and his second of the series.
