The El Paso Chihuahuas trailed 5-0 early Saturday night but came back to beat the Oklahoma City Comets 14-8 at Southwest University Park in the second to last game of the season. It was El Paso's second win in the first five games of the series.
Chihuahuas center fielder Mason McCoy went 2-for-4 with two walks, reaching base four times for the second straight game. McCoy stole his 40th base of the season and is two steals shy of the Chihuahuas' single-season record, with one game remaining. Miguel Andujar played left field for El Paso on MLB Injury Rehab and went 2-for-4 with a walk and an RBI. Andujar has at least one hit in seven of his nine rehab games with El Paso. First baseman Nick Pratto went 3-for-4 with three RBIs and has hit safely in 15 of his last 16 games.
El Paso shortstop Gage Workman went 2-for-5 and matched his season high with four RBIs. Ty Adcock pitched two scoreless innings in the win, and he hasn't allowed any runs or walks in his last three outings, spanning five innings.
