September 30, 2026 — EVERETT, Wash.: Minor League Baseball recently announced All-Star honorees for the Triple-A level and former Everett AquaSox infielder Brock Rodden earned recognition for his efforts in 2026 with the Triple-A Tacoma Rainiers.
Rodden, the Seattle Mariners' No. 19 prospect, suited up for the Rainiers in 92 games, hitting .262 while collecting 22 doubles, three triples, 19 homers, and 65 RBIs to earn Pacific Coast League All-Star recognition at third base. Standout performances during the season included an 8-RBI game against the El Paso Chihuahuas on May 8 and a multi-homer game against the Las Vegas Aviators on August 5.
His efforts with the Rainiers earned him his first promotion to the major leagues, getting called up to the Mariners on August 14. Rodden made his MLB debut that same night against the Houston Astros, knocking a double for his first big league hit while tallying two RBIs. In 30 games played with the Mariners, Rodden hit .197 while roping four extra-base hits to go along with four RBIs and 10 walks.
Originally drafted by the Mariners in the fifth round (No. 160 overall) of the 2023 MLB First-Year Player Draft out of Wichita State University, Rodden debuted in the professional ranks later that year by splitting time between the Arizona Complex League Mariners and Single-A Modesto Nuts. He played 67 games for High-A Everett in 2024, where he hit .302 with 14 doubles, nine home runs, and 33 RBIs after making the Opening Day Roster.
The All-Star recognition was the second of Rodden’s career, having earned Northwest League All-Star honors with the AquaSox in 2024.
