TWINS ANNOUNCE 2027 SPRING TRAINING HOME SCHEDULE
Twins’ 2027 spring schedule features 15 games at Lee Health Sports Complex;
Home Opener is Friday, February 19 against Tampa Bay
MINNEAPOLIS-ST. PAUL, MN – The Minnesota Twins, in conjunction with Major League Baseball, today announced their home schedule for 2027 spring training, the club’s 37th at Lee Health Sports Complex in Fort Myers, FL.
The Twins’ 2027 spring schedule features 30 total Grapefruit League games (15 home, 15 road). Highlights of the Twins’ 15 games at Lee Health Sports Complex:
- The Grapefruit League opener on Friday, February 19, as the Twins welcome the Tampa Bay Rays.
- The Twins host the New York Mets in Fort Myers for the first time since March 2014 when the clubs meet on Wednesday, March 3. Minnesota also travels to Port St. Lucie for the first time in 13 years, playing the Mets there on Saturday, March 13.
- The Twins welcome the Boston Red Sox on Friday, February 26 and again on Thursday, March 18 as part of the annual Fort Myers “Chairman’s Cup” series.
- Two contests vs. the Rays (February 19 and March 6), Baltimore Orioles (February 20 and 28) and Atlanta Braves (March 8 and 20), and single games vs. the Philadelphia Phillies (February 22), Toronto Blue Jays (February 24), Pittsburgh Pirates (March 10), Washington Nationals (March 12), Detroit Tigers (March 14) and New York Yankees (March 16).
- Eight weekend games, including three on Fridays (February 19 vs. TB, February 26 vs. BOS and March 12 vs. WSH), three on Saturdays (February 20 vs. BAL, March 6 vs. TB and March 20 vs. ATL) and two on Sundays (February 28 vs. BAL and March 14 vs. DET).
Following spring training in Fort Myers, the Twins will begin the 2027 campaign with their earliest Opening Day game ever, a Thursday, March 25 contest against the Kansas City Royals at Kauffman Stadium. The Twins’ 2027 regular season Home Opener at Target Field is set for Friday, April 2 vs. the Tampa Bay Rays.
