FREDERICK, MD – The Frederick Keys gave plan holders an exclusive first look Thursday at the IBEW Local 24 Performance Center, a state-of-the-art 10,000 square-foot indoor facility that marks one of the most significant additions to Nymeo Field at Harry Grove Stadium in recent memory.
Located just beyond the right field wall and steps from the Keys clubhouse, the fully air-conditioned Performance Center is built for year-round use. The space features artificial turf, pitching mounds, HitTrax systems, and full netting, giving players and coaches a professional-grade environment to train in any weather, at any time of year.
The facility is the latest in a series of upgrades and renovations that have transformed Nymeo Field over the past several months, rounding out a significantly enhanced experience for players, fans, and the broader Frederick community.
Thursday's preview gave guests a taste of that potential firsthand—with yard games on the turf and a photo booth experience courtesy of All in One Events.
More Than a Training Facility — A Premier Event Venue
While the Performance Center was built with athletes in mind, its potential extends well beyond the diamond. The open, climate-controlled space is an ideal setting for a wide range of private and corporate events—from birthday parties and youth sports clinics to team-building experiences, trade shows, and large-scale gatherings. The combination of turf, open space, and creative potential makes it one of the most distinctive event venues in the Frederick area.

Rental Information
The IBEW Local 24 Performance Center is available for rental beginning this fall. Rates start at $250 per hour for sports-related training, camps, clinics, and activities. Please note that equipment and HitTrax access are not included in rentals.
