FRISCO, Texas (August 13, 2026) - The Frisco RoughRiders surrendered six two-inning runs and fell to the San Antonio Missions 8-6 Thursday night at Riders Field.
Frisco (21-21, 60-50) scored four times in the first against Eric Yost (6-2) with doubles from Sebastian Walcott, Dylan Dreiling and Arturo Disla, before a two-run home run off the bat of Rafe Perich.
Then, San Antonio (20-22, 51-60) tallied a six spot against Dylan MacLean (7-4) on three two-run home runs to take a 6-4 lead.
After the Missions scored again in the fourth, Malcolm Moore singled in the sixth to draw the deficit back to 7-5. Both teams found the scoreboard again in the ninth, as Dreiling cranked a solo home run to make it a two-run game, but Josh Mallitz locked it down from there for his sixth save.
Notes to Know:
- Frisco’s four-run first inning marked the fifth time they’ve plated four or more in the first in a game this season.
- Dreiling’s home run gave him 18 on the year, extending his career high and hold on the team lead.
- Zach Bryant, Jonathan Brand, Janser Lara and Austin Roberts combined to throw 7.2 innings in relief and allowed just one earned run out of the bullpen.
Frisco now trails the series 2-1 and trots out RHP Cole Stasio (1-1, 4.43) against LHP Jamie Hitt (2-1, 5.87) Friday night in a 7:05 p.m. game four start from Riders Field.
