Drive to Celebrate Reading All-Stars on Sunday, May 17
Students from Anderson, Laurens, Pickens, and Spartanburg counties will be recognized during a special day at Fluor Field
The Greenville Drive will close out the homestand with a special celebration of reading, education, and family fun on Sunday, May 17, as Fluor Field hosts Reading All-Stars, presented by Michelin.
The afternoon will recognize the 2026 Reading All-Stars from Anderson, Laurens, Pickens, and Spartanburg counties. These students completed a reading challenge earlier this year, earning a complimentary ticket to the game and the opportunity to be celebrated at Fluor Field.
As part of the celebration, Reading All-Stars will have the chance to walk in a pregame parade, meet Drive players, and enjoy a memorable afternoon of baseball with family, friends, classmates, and teachers.
Thanks to Public Education Partners, participating students will also be able to take home a book to add to their personal library, continuing the Drive’s commitment to celebrating literacy and encouraging a lifelong love of reading across the Upstate.
The day will also feature one of Fluor Field’s favorite Sunday traditions: Kids Run the Bases, presented by Blue Cross Blue Shield of South Carolina. Following the game, kids of all ages are invited onto the field to run the bases with Reedy Rip’It, creating the perfect ending to a family day at the ballpark.
With Reading All-Stars recognition, a pregame parade, player meet-and-greets, Drive baseball, and postgame Kids Run the Bases, Sunday, May 17 offers families a fun and meaningful way to spend the afternoon at Fluor Field.
Tickets for Reading All-Stars and Kids Run the Bases are available now. Fans can secure their seats by visiting the Greenville Drive ticketing page.
