LAWRENCEVILLE, Georgia – Minor League Baseball™ (MiLB™) today announced that Nick Dixon, the Gwinnett Stripers’ Home Clubhouse Manager, has been named the 2026 International League Home Clubhouse Attendant of the Year. He is the first to win the award in Gwinnett’s history.
Dixon completed his 17th season leading the day-to-day operations of Gwinnett’s home clubhouse in 2026, a span that began with the team’s inaugural year in 2009. He moved with the team from Richmond, Virginia, having previously served as the Visiting Clubhouse Manager for the Richmond Braves at The Diamond from 1998-2008. The Spokane, Washington native began his baseball journey in 1994 with the Short-A Spokane Indians.
Dixon’s duties extend far beyond Gwinnett Field, as he handles both team travel and equipment transport logistics on the road. He also assists the Atlanta Braves yearly during MLB Spring Training and was a member of the clubhouse staff for the 2025 MLB All-Star Game at Truist Park.
"Receiving this award is an incredible honor, but I couldn’t have achieved it without my family and the team behind me," said Dixon. "The baseball season demands so much time away, and I want to thank my wife, Teresa, and our children, Jordan, Myah, and Lilia, for their unconditional love and support. I also want to express my gratitude to the phenomenal staff who have worked alongside me over my 17 seasons with Gwinnett. This recognition is a reflection of their hard work and dedication."
