INDIANAPOLIS – The Indianapolis Indians today announced their schedule for the 125th year of Indianapolis Indians baseball in 2027. The season will begin on Friday, March 26 at the Toledo Mud Hens (Triple-A affiliate of the Detroit Tigers). The 2027 regular season home opener at Victory Field will be Tuesday, April 6 vs. the Iowa Cubs (Chicago Cubs) and conclude on Sunday, Sept. 19 at home taking on the Columbus Clippers (Cleveland Guardians).
When the Indianapolis Indians return in 2027, Victory Field will feature new seats throughout the entire ballpark, highlighted by new home plate premium seats available to fans. Approximately 270 premium seats behind home plate will be installed in lower bowl sections 111-113 available in full, half and quarter season package plans. Food and beverage options available with this premium seating include a rotating menu of elevated ballpark favorites, as well as assorted beer, soft drinks and wine. The new breathable mesh seats will be furnished with a more cushioned and stretchable seatback material, which will help reduce seat temperatures during the summer. The swivel seats allow fans easier entry and exit with additional leg and elbow room to enjoy the game without interruption. Drink rails will be in front of every seat along with purse hooks.

With more ticket options available, ticket prices will be reduced in the Upper Box, Upper Reserved and Lawn seating areas beginning in 2027.
Key home dates on Indy’s 2027 regular season schedule include Mother’s Day (Sunday, May 9), Memorial Day (Monday, May 31) and Independence Day (Sunday, July 4). Indy will host a two-week homestand beginning on Memorial Day through Sunday, June 13.
The Iowa Cubs, Omaha Storm Chasers (Kansas City Royals) and St. Paul Saints (Minnesota Twins) will make multiple visits to Victory Field in 2027. Next year’s home schedule will also feature visits from the Gwinnett Stripers (Atlanta Braves), Louisville Bats (Cincinnati Reds), Memphis Redbirds (St. Louis Cardinals) and Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders (New York Yankees).
