DES MOINES, IA – Time to go bananas! Banana Ball is making a stop in Des Moines and returning to Principal Park June 25-26, 2027.
Announced during the live-streamed Selection Show on October 15, the hottest team in sports, the Firefighters, will face off against the nuttiest team, the Loco Beach Coconuts, in two thrilling games.
Tickets are not on sale yet, but fans can join the Ticket Lottery at BananaBall.com for a chance to purchase tickets. But hurry! The Lottery closes on October 31, 2026, at 11:59 PM ET. Joining the list does not guarantee the opportunity to purchase tickets. A random drawing will take place before the event for the chance to purchase available tickets. Those selected will have an opportunity to proceed through the verification process.
All standard tickets start at $35 with Meet and Greet tickets starting at $125 and will be sold exclusively through the Banana Ball website. Premium seating opportunities will be sold via the Iowa Cubs. All questions regarding premium seating can be directed to Brent Conkel of the Iowa Cubs at brentc@iowacubs.com or by calling the front office at 515-243-6111.
Banana Ball is a fast-paced, fans-first version of baseball which includes on-field antics like choreographed dances, crazy rules (if a fan catches a foul ball, it counts as an out), trick plays, fun props and constant crowd interaction to keep fans engaged. Its baseball reimagined, and once you watch it, you can’t go back!
