Prior to the 2026 Major League Baseball season, just six players were part of the 40 home run, 40 stolen base club. Today, former Iowa Cubs outfielder and current Chicago Cub Pete Crow-Armstrong stole his 40th base of the season vs. Miami to become the seventh player to join the prestigious club. He is also the first Chicago Cub to have such season.
PCA, 24, played in parts of two seasons with the I-Cubs including 34 games in 2023 and 26 games in 2024. Over his 60 games, he batted .264 (66-for-250) with 52 runs, 16 doubles, 11 home runs, 36 RBI and 20 stolen bases.
He was traded to the Cubs from the New York Mets in exchange for Javier Baez on July 30, 2021.
