Mark your calendar for Opening Night on April 6 and Independence Day Next Season
KANNAPOLIS, N.C. – The Kannapolis Cannon Ballers have announced their 2027 regular season schedule, featuring 66 home games at Atrium Health Ballpark and another exciting summer of affordable family entertainment in downtown Kannapolis. The club's 132-game Carolina League schedule begins on April 2 and concludes on September 5.
The Cannon Ballers will open the season on the road against the Hill City Howlers before returning home for Opening Night at Atrium Health Ballpark on Tuesday, April 6, when Kannapolis welcomes the Salem RidgeYaks for a six-game series.
The 2027 home slate includes several standout stretches, highlighted by a two-week homestand that kicks off the summer on June 22 against the Charleston RiverDogs and concludes with a Fourth of July weekend matchup against the Delmarva Shorebirds. The Cannon Ballers will close out the regular season at home, hosting the Columbia Fireflies from September 1-5.
Fans can look forward to a full season of Carolina League action, with home series against every opponent in the South Division and matchups with nine different clubs.
As in previous seasons, the Carolina League will continue its Tuesday-through-Sunday format, with Mondays serving as league-wide off days throughout the season. The schedule provides fans with consistent opportunities to enjoy baseball, promotions, fireworks, special events, and community celebrations at Atrium Health Ballpark from April through September. Information regarding game times and promotions will be announced at a later date.
