Event Reminders & Guidelines for
Liberty Ignited & Great American Blast
Star-Spangled Weekend brings two marquee events to Coca-Cola Park in celebration of America250
Allentown, Pennsylvania (June 30, 2026) – In anticipation of Liberty Ignited (July 3rd) and Great American Blast (July 4th), the Lehigh Valley IronPigs have announced precautionary measures, reminders, and guidelines for the pinnacle celebration in the Lehigh Valley for America’s 250th birthday.
With the region in an extreme heat watch through July 4th, guests will be allowed to bring in outside water bottles for both events. All water bottles brought into Coca-Cola Park must be in clear plastic factory-sealed bottles only. Portable coolers, ice chests, thermoses, glass or aluminum bottles, non-sealed containers and other outside food/beverages are not permitted.
Additionally, because of the extreme heat wave, time changes have been announced to condense the program on both nights, while still maintaining all the same programming. Previously scheduled for 5:30pm, Coca-Cola Park’s gates will now open at 6pm for Liberty Ignited with the program beginning at 7pm. Events include the Reading of the Declaration of Independence, a Tribute to First Responders, a Salute to the Armed Forces and a patriotic Sing-along among many other events, plus many local community exhibitors and America250 activities along the stadium’s concourse.
The ballpark’s gates for the Great American Blast event will now open at 6:30pm rather than 6pm.
Due to high demand for tickets, the IronPigs are now making Lawn/General Admission tickets available for Liberty Ignited. Lawn/G.A. tickets are priced at $15 in advance of July 3 and will increase to $17 the day of the event (plus any/all applicable fees). At this time, a limited number of Field Level seats are still available but are nearly sold out. Any guests purchasing Lawn/G.A. tickets may choose to be seated on the grass playing field during the event (including the drone show), but will be asked to relocate prior to the fireworks show immediately after the drone show’s conclusion. Blankets are allowed, but lawn chairs are strictly prohibited.
Tickets purchased the day of either event will be an additional $2. Advance purchase is highly recommended. Tickets are available for purchase at ironpigsbaseball.com, by calling 610-841-PIGS (7447), or by stopping by the Provident Bank Ticket Office at Coca-Cola Park.
With a capacity crowd expected for Liberty Ignited, guests are highly encouraged to arrive as early as possible to navigate any heave traffic and to comfortably be inside the ballpark well in advance of the drone show’s scheduled start time of 9:05pm. Fireworks will begin after the drone show’s completion and after any guests seated on the field have been relocated to the stadium’s concourse.
