
Allentown, Pennsylvania (July 31, 2026) – A four-run sixth inning helped propel the Lehigh Valley IronPigs (15-16, 50-56) to a 7-2 win over the Buffalo Bisons (16-15, 51-55) on Friday night at Coca-Cola Park.
Buffalo actually cracked the scoreboard first in the top of the second inning on a Carlos Mendoza RBI double. The ‘Pigs answered right back with a two-run double from Payton Henry in the bottom half for a 2-1 lead.
Dylan Moore scored on a wild pitch in the fourth to extend the lead before Daz Cameron cancelled that run out with an RBI double in the fifth for Buffalo.
The ‘Pigs opened things up with a four-run sixth. Dylan Moore singled home a run to start things before Payton Henry picked up his third RBI with another base hit. Felix Reyes capped the frame with a two-run single to make it 7-2.
Andrew Bechtold pitched the seventh and eighth without allowing a run before Alex McFarlane struck out the side in the ninth to end things.
Tucker Davidson (W, 6-4) earned the win in relief, allowing just a run over three frames for the ‘Pigs.
Devereaux Harrison (L, 3-4) took the loss for the Bisons, allowing two unearned runs in three innings in his start for the Bisons.
The IronPigs and Bisons continue their series on Saturday, August 1 with first pitch slated for 6:35 p.m. Alan Rangel is slated to throw for the ‘Pigs against Simeon Woods Rachardson for Buffalo.
