September 17th, 2026

Allentown, Pennsylvania (September 17, 2026) – IronPigs Charities, presented by Air Products, is bringing the spirit of the ‘Pigs beyond Jefferson Park with a new investment in the Upper Macungie Township Community Lifestyle Center.

As a Community Champion partner, the IronPigs will serve as the naming partner of the Center’s featured gymnasium, which will become IronPigs Court. The space will feature IronPigs branding on, in and around the court and will serve as a hub for athletic, recreational and community programming.

The partnership represents an investment in a new community resource expected to welcome hundreds of thousands of residents and visitors each year. Through IronPigs Court, the organization will bring the energy, excitement and community spirit of the ‘Pigs into a space designed to bring people together – while supporting a facility that promotes health, recreation, connection and opportunity.

“We’re thrilled to be part of the Upper Macungie Township Community Lifestyle Center and to have IronPigs Court become a place where people can come together, have fun and be active,” said Kurt Landes, President of IronPigs Charities. “Our organization has always believed that our responsibility to the community extends well beyond the gates of Jefferson Park. This is another opportunity for the IronPigs and IronPigs Charities to make a meaningful investment in the Lehigh Valley and the region’s families. We’re not just putting our name on a court; we’re investing in what happens on it.”

“We are proud to welcome the Lehigh Valley IronPigs as a Community Champion! A primary focus of the Upper Macungie Township Community Fund, the Township’s nonprofit organization, is to ‘Build Community’ through strategic partnerships that are mission aligned. The IronPigs mission is well matched to serve the residents and community of Upper Macungie Township through health and wellness, education, and fun. We are excited to see the array of programming and activities that will soon take place on IronPigs Court,” said Laura McHugh, Board Chair of the Upper Macungie Township Community Fund.

IronPigs Charities, the philanthropic arm of the Lehigh Valley IronPigs, is dedicated to supporting educational and recreational opportunities for Lehigh Valley youth. The partnership with the Community Lifestyle Center furthers that mission by helping provide a welcoming and accessible space for young people and families to participate in recreation and community activities.

The Upper Macungie Township Community Lifestyle Center will host its ribbon-cutting ceremony on Tuesday, September 22, officially opening the new facility and celebrating the community partnerships that helped make the Center possible.
