Allentown, Pennsylvania (August 11th, 2026) – The Lehigh Valley IronPigs are excited to share that ‘Duck Night’ presented by Lehigh Valley Reilly Children’s Hospital, part of Jefferson Health, raised $12,000 for the Pediatric Cancer Foundation of the Lehigh Valley.

Playing as ‘Lehigh Valley Rubber Duckies’ on Duck Night (July 9th), the special game-worn Rubber Duckies jerseys and caps were auctioned off after the game with all proceeds going to PCFLV. Additionally, the night’s 50/50 proceeds went to PCFLV as well as the money raised from that evening’s revival of ‘Chuck-a-Duck’. 2,884 ducks were sent soaring thru the night sky at Coca-Cola Park in support of the cause.

The first annual “Chuck-a-Duck” fundraiser took place in 2025, with the more than 2,643 ducks taking flight, raising $4,195.

“While Duck Night is amazingly fun and unique, the underlying purpose is to provide genuine support for the incredible work that PCFLV provides to our community,” said IronPigs President and General Manager Kurt Landes. “Special thanks to our partners at Lehigh Valley Reilly Children's Hospital and kudos to all of our employees, partners and fans who helped to raise these valuable funds.”

PCFLV provides family-centered programs and services throughout all stages of the pediatric cancer journey with compassion and integrity. PCFLV’s initiatives and activities offer financial assistance, emotional support, and social connection to ensure no family faces pediatric cancer alone. PCFLV is dedicated to bringing comfort, joy, and a sense of community to local children impacted by cancer and their loved ones, for as long as they are needed.
