Allentown, Pennsylvania (September 23, 2026) – For the 4th consecutive season the Lehigh Valley IronPigs have led all of Minor League Baseball (MiLB) in total attendance, welcoming 559,602 fans thru the gates in 2026.
The IronPigs led in total attendance while averaging 7,772 fans per game. This is the 10th time that the franchise has led MiLB in either overall or average attendance out of the club’s 18 total seasons. Only five teams finished with more than 500,000 in total attendance this season, with the ‘Pigs and the Indianapolis Indians the only two franchises to top 550,000.
Since the IronPigs played their first season in 2008, no other team in MiLB has led all of MiLB in attendance in four consecutive years, making the ‘Pigs the first to achieve the feat in that timespan. The ‘Pigs have finished no worse than top-10 in MiLB in total and average attendance every year of the club’s existence. The crowds followed the ‘Pigs as well, as they were the most attended team across MiLB for both home and road games combined (961,416).

We’re not planning on taking our foot off the gas anytime soon and we’re well into plans for the upcoming 2027 season to make it our best yet.”
The IronPigs had 28 total sellouts (8,364 fans) this season as well as 15 capacity sellouts (10,000 fans). This brings the total to 717 sellouts all-time with 293 capacity sellouts since 2008. The all-time franchise attendance now sits at 10,652,089 with an average attendance since 2008 of 8,583 fans per game. The IronPigs were the fastest Minor League team to reach 10 million fans ever and completed the accomplishment in 2025 – just the team’s 17th season.
Newly re-named Jefferson Park, the IronPigs home since 2008, was named by USA Today as Minor League Baseball’s #1 Ballpark this past Spring. In addition to 75 IronPigs home games, the venue hosted 41 dates of Illumination (the region’s top Winter Lights festival), Banana Ball, Cosmic Baseball, Devonta Smith’s Celebrity Softball game, Liberty Ignited and over 100 other unique events over the past year.
The IronPigs will begin their defense of their attendance crown when they play their first home game of the 2027 season on March 30th, 2027 as they play host to the Worcester Red Sox at Jefferson Park. The IronPigs will be celebrating their 20th year of existence and 19th season of play (having lost one season to Covid).
