Kameron Misner Homers for Second Straight Game as ‘Pigs Dropped by RailRiders in Series Finale

‘Pigs return home for final home series of season on Tuesday against WooSox

Moosic, Pennsylvania (September 6, 2026) – The Lehigh Valley IronPigs (29-33, 64-73) fell to the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders (36-25, 73-62) 7-3 in their season-series finale Sunday afternoon at PNC Field.

Scranton was off and running early as Yanquiel Fernandez blasted a three-run homer in the first inning.

The ‘Pigs responded with an RBI single from Dylan Moore in the second, but SWB plated three more in the bottom half of the frame. Abrahan Guitierrez belted a solo homer before Jarred Kelenic hit an RBI triple and then scored on an Anthony Volpe base hit.

Kelenic drove in his second run of the game with a sacrifice fly in the sixth to extend the SWB lead to 7-1.

Down to their final out, the ‘Pigs got a two-run homer from Kameron Misner, but could not muster any more magic after it, falling 7-3.

Adam Kloffenstein (W, 3-11) got the win for SWB, allowing just an unearned run over six innings while Drake Fellows (L, 5-4) took the loss for the ‘Pigs, allowing six runs over four innings.

Following an off-day on Monday, the ‘Pigs return home to Coca-Cola Park on Tuesday, September 8th,for their final homestand of the series when they host the Worcester Red Sox. First pitch on Tuesday is slated for 6:45 p.m.
