Buffalo, New York (August 19, 2026) – Five different Lehigh Valley IronPigs (24-22, 59-62) combined to hold the Buffalo Bisons (25-22, 60-62) to just one run in a 2-1 victory on Wednesday afternoon at Sahlen Field.
The ‘Pigs got their only runs of the game on one swing in the third when Tommy Pham doubled home a pair.
Drake Fellows (W, 5-2) rolled off five straight zeros to open the game for the ‘Pigs before handing things off to Tucker Davidson for a scoreless sixth.
Buffalo got on the board in the seventh on a Yohendrick Piñango sacrifice fly, but Kirby Snead turned them away in the eighth as he came into a bases loaded no out jam and struck out the next three hitters to keep the ‘Pigs in front 2-1.
Grant Holman (S, 2) got three groundouts in order to convert the save in the ninth.
Josh Stephan (L, 0-2) took the tough-luck loss for the Bisons, allowing two runs over six frames.
The IronPigs and Bisons continue their series on Thursday, August 20th with first pitch slated for 6:35 p.m. Casey Lawrence is slated to go for the ‘Pigs against John Klein for Buffalo.
