Allentown, Pennsylvania (August 14, 2026) – The Lehigh Valley IronPigs (21-22, 56-62) scored 13 unanswered runs, bolstered by Tommy Pham who drove in six with a grand slam, as they steamrolled the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders (25-16, 62-53) on Friday night at Coca-Cola Park.
SWB started the scoring as Anthony Volpe swatted a solo homer in the third, but it was all ‘Pigs after that.
Carter Kieboom tied the game when he scored on a wild pitch and Robert Moore gave the ‘Pigs the lead later in the frame with a two-run homer.
The ‘Pigs used the long ball to blow the game open as Tommy Pham belted a grand slam in the sixth and Kieboom popped a solo homer to begin the seventh. Later in the seventh, Pham singled home two more a Steward Berroa sacrifice fly and Keaton Anthony RBI single made it 12-1 in the blink of an eye.
Berroa drove in his second run of the game with a base hit in the eighth, bringing the final tally to 13-1.
It was well more than enough run support for Brian Keller (W, 1-3) as he allowed just one run over five frames to earn the win for the ‘Pigs.
Adam Kloffenstein (L, 2-9) took the loss for SWB, allowing three runs in 4.2 innings.
The ‘Pigs and RailRiders continue their series on Saturday, August 15th with first pitch set for 6:35 p.m. at Coca-Cola Park. The ‘Pigs starter is Alan Rangel while Brendan Beck goes for SWB.
