The Louisville Bats today announced their schedule for the 2027 International League season. The 27th season of Minor League Baseball at Louisville Slugger Field will begin on Tuesday, March 30 when the Bats welcome the Indianapolis Indians to Louisville for a six-game series.
The Bats will begin the 2027 season on the road with a three-game series against the St. Paul Saints at CHS Field from March 26-28 before returning home for Opening Night on March 30. The 150-game schedule features 75 home games and 75 road games and runs through Sunday, September 19.
After being on the road for Independence Day in 2026, the Bats will be home for the full week against Columbus from June 29 to July 4, with a fireworks spectacular scheduled after the Sunday night showdown against the Clippers.
Louisville will also be at home on Memorial Day weekend against Indianapolis at the end of May and on Labor Day weekend against Omaha in early September.
The Bats will play against nine different International League opponents in 2027. Louisville will host Indianapolis, Omaha, Nashville, Toledo, St. Paul, Columbus, Iowa, Memphis and Gwinnett at Louisville Slugger Field during the season.
The season features a pair of multi-week homestands, first an early season 12-game stretch against Omaha and Nashville from April 13-25 and then nine games against St. Paul and Iowa coming out of the All-Star break from July 16-25.
The Bats will finish the 2027 regular season at home, welcoming the Iowa Cubs to Louisville for a six-game series from September 14-19. The final 12 games of the regular season will be against the Cubs and Memphis Redbirds, with the Bats visiting Memphis for their final road series from September 7-12 before returning home for the season-ending series.
Fireworks will once again light up the Louisville sky after many weekend home games in 2027. Many other fan-favorite weekly promotions and giveaways will also return next season, with the full 2027 promotional schedule to be announced at a later date. All promotions are subject to change.
