MANCHESTER, N.H. and PORTLAND, Maine — Northeast Delta Dental, the New Hampshire Fisher Cats, and the Portland Sea Dogs today announced an expansion of their partnerships that will feature the Delta Dental logo on the teams’ uniforms beginning with the 2027 season.
The agreement comes as 2027 marks the first season that jersey sponsorship inventory will be available to Minor League Baseball clubs, creating a new opportunity for teams to showcase select partners on their on-field uniforms.

The expanded agreement builds upon Northeast Delta Dental’s significant existing relationships with both organizations, including naming rights to the clubs’ respective ballparks — Delta Dental Stadium in Manchester and Delta Dental Park at Hadlock Field in Portland. Both the Fisher Cats and Sea Dogs are owned by Diamond Baseball Holdings (DBH), an organization that owns and operates Minor League Baseball clubs across the country.
The New Hampshire Fisher Cats are the Double-A affiliate of the Toronto Blue Jays, while the Portland Sea Dogs are the Double-A affiliate of the Boston Red Sox.

Beginning in 2027, the Delta Dental logo will be prominently featured on the sleeve of Fisher Cats and Sea Dogs jerseys, further connecting a trusted Northern New England brand with two organizations deeply rooted in the communities they serve. The Delta Dental logo will appear on the Fisher Cats’ Home, Road, and Alternate jerseys (Navy, Powder Blues, and Red), and the Sea Dogs’ Home, Road, and Alternate jerseys (Red and Blue). The patch will also be on replica jerseys that are available for retail sale in-ballpark and via team-owned and operated e-commerce channels.
"We are extremely fortunate to work with Tom Raffio and the entire Northeast Delta Dental team. Tom has always shared our belief in the impact of Minor League Baseball in our community, and the fan experience we provide at Delta Dental Stadium," said Fisher Cats General Manager Taylor Fisher. "When the idea of a jersey patch partnership presented itself as a natural opportunity to further connect our two organizations, Tom immediately saw it as a no-brainer. Delta Dental has continued to step up and share our vision, and there is nothing more representative of the Fisher Cats than our jerseys. We are deeply grateful for Delta Dental’s continued commitment to the Fisher Cats and for expanding an already incredible partnership."

Northeast Delta Dental’s relationship with the Fisher Cats dates back nearly two decades and expanded to include naming rights to the team’s Manchester ballpark in 2011. In 2024, Northeast Delta Dental expanded its baseball presence in Northern New England through a naming-rights agreement with the Sea Dogs, renaming the Portland ballpark Delta Dental Park at Hadlock Field.
“Delta Dental has been an outstanding partner since we expanded our relationship with the naming of Delta Dental Park at Hadlock Field, and we are excited to take another significant step together,” said Sea Dogs General Manager Jesse Scaglion. “Our jersey is one of the most visible representations of the Portland Sea Dogs, so it is important that the partner represented alongside our brand shares our commitment to our fans and our community. Delta Dental has demonstrated that commitment time and again, and we are proud to have their logo on our uniforms.”
With both clubs on the Diamond Baseball Holdings roster, the expanded partnership provides Northeast Delta Dental with a unique opportunity to strengthen its presence across Northern New England while connecting with fans of two of the region’s premier professional sports organizations.
“I’ve always loved baseball and the way it brings people and communities together, so seeing the Delta Dental logo on the Sea Dogs and Fisher Cats jerseys will be especially meaningful,” said Tom Raffio, President and CEO of Northeast Delta Dental. “We’ve built strong relationships with both organizations over many years, and this is an exciting next chapter. It gives us another unique opportunity to connect with families across Northern New England, support organizations that share our commitment to their communities, and promote good oral health in a fun and engaging way.”
The partnership will continue to emphasize community engagement and oral health education throughout Maine and New Hampshire. Northeast Delta Dental has used its relationships with both teams to make oral health education engaging and accessible for families, including programs that encourage children to develop healthy brushing and flossing habits while earning opportunities to attend professional baseball games.
Through both the Fisher Cats and Sea Dogs, Northeast Delta Dental supports the Brush & Floss Challenge, which rewards children for practicing good oral health habits with a complimentary ticket to a select home game.
Delta Dental also provides tickets to local nonprofit and youth organizations through the Sea Dogs’ Building Communities program and serves as a presenting partner of several fan events and promotional initiatives throughout the season.
The Delta Dental jersey branding will debut when the Fisher Cats and Sea Dogs take the field for the start of the 2027 season. The Fisher Cats start on the road in Reading, PA against the Reading Fightin Phils on April 2nd, with their home opener slated for Tuesday, April 6th against the Somerset Patriots. The Sea Dogs open the season at home on Friday, April 2nd against the Binghamton Rumble Ponies.
