MANCHESTER, NH – Right fielder Carter Cunningham launched a walk-off two-run home run as the New Hampshire Fisher Cats (25-41, 59-74) beat the Harrisburg Senators (32-32, 66-67) 2-1, Friday night at Delta Dental Stadium. The Fisher Cats were held scoreless into the bottom of the 10th, until Cunningham won the game in front of 4,652 fans.
Cunningham’s walk-off home run was New Hampshire’s first since April 16, 2025, (Peyton Williams vs BNG). The Fisher Cats have five walk-off wins in 2026, and Cunningham’s walk-off blast was the 29th in franchise history.
New Hampshire’s pitching was stellar and held Harrisburg to one run in 10 innings. In his final Double-A start, Nolan Perry fired four scoreless innings with six strikeouts and only one hit allowed. Mason Olson followed Perry with three scoreless frames and a trio of strikeouts. Right-hander Devereaux Harrison tossed two innings with five strikeouts and Kelena Sauer (W, 2-4) allowed a run but notched the win.
Harrisburg starter Yoel Tejeda Jr. twirled four shutout frames with a pair of punchouts. Lefty Alex Clemmey stifled the Fisher Cats with eight strikeouts in 4-2/3 innings. Reliever Thomas Schultz (L, 3-6) secured the final out in the ninth but allowed Cunningham’s walk-off home run.
