
DURHAM, NC --- The Norfolk Tides (21-33 | 49-80) defeated the Durham Bulls (32-24 | 60-71), 7-4, on Sunday at Durham Bulls. The win gave Norfolk a 4-2 series victory on the road.
Norfolk hit three home runs in the victory. Payton Eeles cracked the scoring open with a two-run homer in the fourth inning. It was his second of the season. In the next inning, Brandon Butterworth hit his second homer of his Triple-A season to go up 3-0.
Durham put up all four of their runs in the fifth inning, holding a lead into the seventh inning. Félix Bautista tossed a scoreless sixth inning with a strikeout, continuing his MLB Rehab assignment. He would earn the win after Jeremiah Jackson hit a go-ahead three-run homer in the top of the seventh. He would sink the dagger with an RBI single in the ninth to win, 7-4.
