OKLAHOMA CITY – The Oklahoma City Comets will honor breast cancer survivors and take the field in special pink jerseys Friday night as part of Pack the Park Pink presented by MidFirst Bank. The celebratory night is one of several upcoming promotions during the Comets’ six-game home series against the Albuquerque Isotopes Tuesday through Sunday at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark.
Action gets underway against the Rockies’ Triple-A affiliate at 6:35 p.m. tomorrow on $2 Tuesday where fans can enjoy $2 select beer, soda and bottled water from a line of Miller, Coors and Pepsi products. The series then continues against the Isotopes with 6:35 p.m. games both Wednesday and Thursday.
On Friday, Comets players and coaches will wear special pink jerseys for breast cancer awareness as part of Pack the Park Pink presented by MidFirst Bank. Cancer survivors will be honored before and during the game and the Comets’ game-worn jerseys will be auctioned off to support Susan G Komen Oklahoma.
Oklahoma City celebrates its franchise’s past with the third and final 89ers night of the season presented by Mickey Mantle’s Steakhouse Saturday night. From throwback jerseys to gameday entertainment and music from when the 89ers were playing, this is one night fans won't forget. The 7:05 p.m. game also features a bobblehead giveaway of Chief Meteorologist Damon Lane presented by KOCO 5. Celebrate one of Oklahoma City's favorite meteorologists and his 14 years leading the Certified Most Accurate Weather Team with a special giveaway available to the first 1,500 fans to arrive at the ballpark with gates opening at 6 p.m. Additionally, Saturday’s game will be broadcast locally on KOCO, which is available as Channel 5 through digital antennas and DirecTV and as Channel 8 through Cox Cable.
Arrive early Saturday as the evening is also scheduled to feature a special guest throwing out a ceremonial first pitch pregame in partnership with the National Kidney Foundation. Noah Syndergaard is a 2016 National League All-Star who pitched eight seasons in MLB, including with the Los Angeles Dodgers and New York Mets. He appeared in two games with OKC in 2023 as part of a rehab assignment and returns to Bricktown with the National Kidney Foundation. Syndergaard, nicknamed “Thor,” lives with the same rare hereditary kidney disease as his father and is working to raise awareness about kidney disease, the importance of living kidney donation and the lifesaving work of the National Kidney Foundation. The Comets then close the series with Family Sunday featuring a 6:05 p.m. start time. Select Comets players will be available to sign autographs for fans on the concourse prior to first pitch. Following the action, kids can take the field to run the bases like their favorite pros.
