This fall’s benefiting nonprofits are Keystone Little League, Police Athletics for Community Engagement (PACE), and Plattsmouth Youth Softball and Baseball League.
Keystone Little League will be using their grant to help replace worn out pitching plates and replace the league’s portable pitching mound. PACE’s grant will be used to help renovate and replace the backstop fencing at their Christie Heights field, including netting to improve the safety of the players and spectators. Plattsmouth Youth Softball and Baseball League will be purchasing a field Chalker and batter’s box outline to make sure their fields can be properly marked before their games.
The Chasin’ Dreams Grant is awarded twice annually. Organizations interested in applying for the next cycle are encouraged to visit chaserscharities.org for the application guidelines. The deadline is slated for February 28, 2027.
