PAPILLION, NEB. – In conjunction with Minor League Baseball, the Omaha Storm Chasers today announced their 2027 regular season 150-game schedule.
The 2026 regular season will once again consist of 75 home games and 75 road games and will span across parts of seven months, with the season opener on Friday, March 26 at Werner Park against the Buffalo Bisons. Omaha will have its first road series the following week in Nashville against the Sounds.

The Storm Chasers will play their closest rivals, the Iowa Cubs (Cubs affiliate), 24 times throughout the 2026 season. There will be four 6-game sets played, including twice at Werner Park, May 25 to 30 and August 17 to 22. Omaha will also head to Des Moines twice, May 4 to 9 and July 27 to August 1.
For the second time since joining the International League, the Storm Chasers will face off against two Pacific Coast League clubs in one season, the Las Vegas Aviators (Athletics affiliate) and Sugar Land Space Cowboys (Astros affiliate). The Storm Chasers will host the Aviators at Werner Park for the second straight year in a 6-game series from April 6 to 11, Vegas’ second trip to Papillion since 2019. Omaha then will travel to Sugar Land for a 6-game series from June 29 to July 4, the Storm Chasers’ first regular season matchup with the Space Cowboys.
Omaha’s schedule will feature contests against two International League East opponents, with both series played at home. The Buffalo Bisons (Blue Jays affiliate) will travel to Werner Park for a three-game set, March 26 to 28. This will be the second straight home opener for the Storm Chasers against the Bisons, but also the second time since 1997 the Bisons come to Omaha. The Storm Chasers welcome the Rochester Red Wings (Nationals affiliate) for a 6-game series, June 8 to 13, the second straight year the Red Wings will visit Werner Park.
The Chasers will host Buffalo on Easter Sunday (March 28) and travel to Iowa for Mother’s Day (May 9). Omaha will hit the road for St. Paul for Father’s Day (June 20) and the Chasers will be in Sugar Land for Independence Day (July 4). Omaha will have the day off on Memorial Day (May 31) and Labor Day (September 6).
Omaha will host one double-homestand, playing six games each against the Iowa Cubs and St. Paul Saints between August 17 and 29. The team will also have a two-week road trip during the 2027 season, from April 13 to 25, visiting Louisville and Columbus.
The Storm Chasers will play a single series against a pair of IL West opponents; one at Werner Park against the Memphis Redbirds (Cardinals affiliate) from July 20 to 25 and one on the road against the Nashville Sounds (Brewers affiliate) from March 30 to April 4.
The I-Cubs and Columbus Clippers (Guardians affiliate) are tied for the most games against Omaha next year, with both teams facing the Storm Chasers 24 times. The Clippers will visit Papillion twice (May 11 to 16 and August 3 to 8), with two series played in Columbus (April 20 to 25 and June 1 to 6).
The Storm Chasers will also play the Louisville Bats (Reds affiliate), Toledo Mud Hens (Tigers affiliate) and St. Paul Saints (Twins affiliate) 18 times each. Omaha will host Louisville once (July 6 to 11) and head to Louisville Slugger Field twice (April 13 to 18 and August 31 to September 5). The Chasers will host the Mud Hens for a pair of 6-game series (April 27 to May 2 and September 7 to 12) and head to Toledo once (August 10 to 15). St. Paul will visit Papillion for a 6-game series August 24 to 29 and host the Storm Chasers twice (June 15 to 20 and September 14 to 19).
The Indianapolis Indians (Pirates affiliate) will play Omaha 15 times, with one 6-game series at Werner Park (June 22 to 27) and the remaining 9 games played in Indianapolis (May 18 to 23 and July 16 to 18).
