Omaha plated two more runs in the top of the 6th inning on a two-run fielding error, and Patteson subsequently twirled a 1-2-3 bottom half to keep the game 7-0.

Colton Becker hit an RBI single in the top of the 7th inning to bring the Storm Chasers’ lead to 8-0, and Patteson worked a third scoreless frame in the bottom of the 7th inning. Patteson finished the night with 3.0 innings of relief, striking out a pair without allowing a run.

Omaha called on Major League rehabber Connor Seabold for the bottom of the 8th inning, and he pitched a clean inning before Scott Alexander did the same in the bottom of the 9th inning to finish the 8-0 win.
