Homestand Preview: Chiefs wrap 2026 season with Fan Appreciation, Multiple giveaways

Fan Appreciation, Pete Vonachen Day, Fright Night, giveaways and three nights of postgame fireworks highlight the final homestand of the season at Dozer Park as the Chiefs host the Quad Cities River Bandits, the High-A affiliate of the Kansas City Royals, September 1-6.

The full homestand itinerary is listed below: 

TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 1 at 6:35 p.m.; Taco Tuesday; Bark In The Park; Silver Sluggers 

Start your week with $2 ground beef tacos and bring your four-legged friend along for Bark in the Park. Silver Sluggers members can redeem their final Tuesday voucher of the season. 

WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 2 at 6:35 p.m.; Wallet Friendly Wednesday, presented by Ollie’s; Bark In The Park 

Enjoy $2 hot dogs and $2 nachos all game long, and bring your dog to Dozer Park for the second straight night of Bark in the Park. 

THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 3 at 6:35 p.m.; Bucks For Brews; Bark In The Park; Postgame Fireworks 

Get the weekend started early with $2 domestic draft beers, $2 sodas and $4 craft beers. It’s also the final Bark in the Park of the season and the first of three consecutive nights of postgame fireworks. 

FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 4 at 7:05 p.m.; Fright Night; T-shirt Giveaway; Family Fridays, presented by Firehouse Pizza & Pub; Postgame Fireworks 

Things are getting spooky at Dozer Park! Fright Night features a Chiefs-themed spooky T-shirt giveaway for the first 1,000 fans, along with haunted house character appearances throughout the game courtesy of Spider Hill. 

It’s our last Family Friday night of the season, featuring four tickets and two small pizza coupons to Firehouse Pizza & Pub for just $50. Stick around after the final out for postgame fireworks. 

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 5 at 7:05 p.m.; Fan Appreciation; Postgame Fireworks, presented by CEFCU;  

Saturday is all about you, the fans! Giveaways such as electronics, memorabilia and experiences will be handed out throughout the game as the Chiefs thank fans for their continued support all season long. Cap off the final Saturday night at Dozer Park with postgame fireworks against the downtown Peoria skyline. 

SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 6 at 2:05 p.m.; Pete Vonachen Day; Themed Baseball Giveaway, presented by Peoria International Airport; Marty Pass Giveaway; Grand Slam Sunday, presented by OSF Children’s Hospital of Illinois 

Celebrate the final game of the season by honoring longtime Chiefs owner Pete Vonachen and his lasting impact on baseball in Peoria. In the spirit of Vonachen, the first 1,000 fans will receive a Chiefs-themed baseball. Additionally, the first 1,000 fans will receive a ‘Marty Pass’ Cardinals ticket voucher for the 2027 season, redeemable for a ticket to a Monday-Thursday home game at Busch Stadium.  

Bring the youngsters out for one final afternoon at Dozer Park where they can get in for just $5 and enjoy postgame activities including running the bases, playing catch on the field and getting autographs from their favorite Chiefs players.
