Three fireworks shows, McGreevy bobblehead highlight penultimate homestand of 2026

August 12th, 2026

Peoria, IL – The Chiefs are back at Dozer Park like they never left.

Well, because they didn’t leave.

After a six-game home series with Quad Cities last week, the Chiefs are in the midst of a six-game set with the Beloit Sky Carp, the Marlins High-A affiliate. It’s the second-to-last homestand of the season for Peoria, so be sure to catch the team before summer is over.

The full itinerary for the remaining five games of the homestand is listed below:

WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 12 at 6:35 p.m.; Wallet Friendly Wednesday, presented by Ollie’s; Bark In The Park

Grab $2 hot dogs and $2 nachos throughout the evening while bringing your pup along for Bark in the Park.

THURSDAY, AUGUST 13 at 6:35 p.m.; Bucks For Brews; Bark In The Park; Postgame Fireworks; Peoria Orange Barrels

Discounted beverages return with $2 draft beers, $2 sodas and $4 craft beers. It’s the final night to bring your dogs to the game while the Chiefs transform into the Peoria Orange Barrels and celebrate Illinois’ iconic construction season, followed by postgame fireworks.

The season's final bobblehead giveaway features Cardinals pitcher Michael McGreevy. He threw the Chiefs’ only complete game since at least 2021. It’s also a great night to meet your favorite princes and princesses at Dozer Park before another postgame fireworks show.

SUNDAY, AUGUST 16 at 2:05 p.m.; Grand Slam Sunday, presented by OSF Children’s Hospital of Illinois

Wrap up the two-week homestand by bringing the youngsters to Dozer Park where they can run the bases, play catch on the field and collect their favorite players’ autographs after the game. Kids 12 and under get in for just $5 every Sunday.

Fans can purchase tickets for this two-week homestand and the Chiefs' last set of games at Dozer Park, September 1-6, by visiting PeoriaChiefs.com or the Dozer Park box office.
